Alia Bhatt has undoubtedly had an amazing year, marked by the coveted National Award she received for her extraordinary performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi, her Hollywood debut with Heart Of Stone and her most-loved film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Her latest achievement, however is securing the second position on IMDb's Top Ten Most Popular Indian Stars list, with superstar Shah Rukh Khan at the top.

Alia expressed her gratitude to her audience and emphasized IMDb as the true representation of the viewers' choices. "IMDb is the true representation of the audiences’ choices. I’ve always believed that they are the real king and queen... and nothing is beyond them. All I want to say is that I thank my audience for bringing me to the position that I am at. While I hope to continue entertaining them, I am filled with only love and gratitude. I also promise to keep working hard and bring more and more inspiring stories and characters on screen."
